By the program’s end, attendees will have developed a tailored blueprint and actionable roadmap, uniquely aligned to their organization’s goals, setting the stage for sustainable, AI-enabled transformation.

Module One: Recoding Business in the Age of AI
Module with Prof. Vijay Gurbaxani, Ph.D. A strategic understanding of the AI revolution and its profound impact on business and society. Participants will explore AI as a transformational force, requiring visionary leadership and adaptive operating models to maintain a competitive edge. Through a practical, non-technical approach, this module delves into the critical components of AI strategy—aligning initiatives with organizational objectives, prioritizing use cases, and building essential capabilities. Featuring real-world case studies and interactive working sessions, this module empowers leaders to drive meaningful AI-driven innovation and organizational transformation.

Module Two: Designing a Data Ecosystem
Module with Tom Andriola Today's rapidly evolving business landscape is driven by “digital,” meaning technology, data, analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) are now the primary tools of business performance, innovation, change, and competitive advantage. They have become the drivers of transformation and renewal. This session delves into how your strategic thinking and leadership approaches must now go beyond digital transformation into being able to define and articulate a data ecosystem and AI factory at the center of the business. Change leaders must understand how to redefine their roles within this data and AI paradigm and to foster a culture of innovation and organizational success. This session will bring these topics into discussion to equip participants with the knowledge, framework, and tools necessary to navigate and lead effectively in the AI-augmented business environment and bring valuable contributions to the executive suite and boardroom.

Module Three: Creating Transformational Use Cases
Module with Neena Sathi A structured approach to building a transformational AI portfolio that drives sustained organizational impact. Participants will learn how to identify, prioritize, and balance AI use cases—leveraging quick wins to build momentum while advancing long-term, high-impact initiatives. The sessions emphasize aligning AI opportunities with strategic goals to maximize value and ensure progressive AI maturity. Through live case studies and interactive working sessions, attendees will gain practical insights into managing a diverse AI portfolio that delivers measurable business outcomes.

Module Four: Engineer and Build Trust in your AI System
Module with UC Faculty A comprehensive exploration of the foundational principles required to build and maintain trust in AI systems by embedding KPMG’s trusted AI ethical pillars—transparency, fairness, accountability, and ethical integrity. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the frameworks and methodologies necessary to develop AI solutions that not only deliver business value but also align with regulatory requirements, organizational values, and evolving societal expectations. The session will emphasize the importance of ethical AI governance throughout the entire AI lifecycle, from data collection and model development to deployment and monitoring.

Module Five: How to Build AI Capabilities
Module with Meghna Sinha Explore how enterprises can acquire the capabilities to deliver and manage AI solutions across the organization with a combination of internal talent and external partners. It will shed light on the make versus buy decision and it will empower senior executives to build internal capabilities by providing an understanding of the key dimensions of AI capability - including data, models, algorithms and applications, responsible AI, and governance - that together constitute competency in AI. It will also provide approach to enable leaders to assess their organization’s AI maturity.

Module Six: Preparing your Organization for Change
Module with Prof. Noah Askin, Ph.D. There are probably more definitions of culture than there are people studying it. Culture is an elusive concept, but one with tremendous face validity: everyone understands what culture is, but that understanding is often vague and fuzzy. In this session we will discuss one useful model of culture and figure out how to use it in context to be able to drive strategic and behavioral change inside an organization. We will use Satya Nadella’s time at Microsoft—including his foray into AI—to see how he re-shaped the culture around a growth mindset, ushering in a substantial turnaround. A growth mindset is particularly important for organizations trying to make any kind of transformation, especially one to an entirely new technology or way of working.
